To all Members and Friends
Our Christmas lunch this year is to be held at Dunnings Mill, East Grinstead on 7th December from 12 o’clock. Carol has frequently eaten in this restaurant/pub and on every occasion, she has found the food standard to be really good
The cost of our festive lunch is £25 for two courses and £30 for three courses. However, our committee have generously agreed a £5 subsidy for each meal booked reducing the cost to £20 and £25 respectively. A £10 deposit will be required to secure the booking with the balance to be paid by 28th November 2022. Alternatively, you can pay the full amount straight away rather than split deposit and balance. We are planning to provide transport from Crawley Bus Station to the restaurant and return at a subsidised price of £7.50. If you wish to use this service, please let us know when you book.
Dunnings Mill has allocated us a large enclosed room where we may do what we usually do on occasions such as the Christmas lunch, i.e., sell masses of raffle tickets, the first prize traditionally being a well-stocked Christmas hamper which will be displayed with other Christmassy raffle items. This year 2022 is our Branch 30th Anniversary and therefore we have invited the Mayor of East Grinstead as our guest of honour and his address will focus on some of the achievements of the Branch during this time. With the facility of a separate room, we are able carry out all our plans without impacting on the personal space of other diners.
We sincerely hope that you will be able to join us
